They offered tastefully decorated and modern rooms with amassing view as well as soap. The location was unbeatable right on the square. What's more, it was right by the historical center of Cuenca, downstairs cafe and the park across the street.
Well, Wi-Fi was bad.

We loved this place - beautifully restored and wonderful old hotel.
Everything was simply excellent. Truly wonderful staff and new-fashioned rooms, we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was reasonably priced with good food and cheaper prices, we ordered delicious dishes. Plus it had an exceptional view...

The hotel features elegant colonial architecture.
The loud music from a nearby disco prevented me from getting any sleep. Despite requesting assistance, the management did not address the issue adequately and offered no compensation. The noise continued until the early hours of the morning.

Great location right by the central square. The spacious room had a nice kitchenette which was perfect for quick meals. The noise from the street could be disruptive at night, especially on weekends, and the shower was a bit finicky. Breakfast was good, but it was nothing extraordinary.

Single travelers beware of the noise!
The location was superb, just a block away from the main square. The breakfasts were a huge deal, more than enough to kickstart the day and also got to meet some nice local musicians keeping the vibe lively.
Not exactly a bargain, but I guess you get what you pay for.
